Spiral unloaders are increasingly widely used in port bulk cargo terminals for unloading operations, and are also used in other terminal types and unloading process systems. According to the tonnage of the object ship and the type of material unloaded, the vertical conveying spiral diameter ranges from 260mm to 790mm, and the unloader productivity ranges from 100t/h to 2700t/h. Spiral unloaders are suitable for various ship types from 1000-ton barges to 150,000-ton ocean-going ships, and can be used to unload cement, grain, coal, various fertilizers and chemical raw materials, feed, alumina, phosphate rock powder, sugar and other bulk granular materials. Small and medium-sized spiral unloaders generally require the material size to not exceed 50mm, and the maximum allowable material size of large spiral unloaders can reach 350mm.

PLC control can realize the functions of equipment control, data monitoring, data processing, and data transmission, and display the working status, loading and unloading ship data, fault information, etc. in the electrical room, driver’s room and system central control room, and realize the information management of the loading and unloading ship system. Each organization can propose AC frequency conversion, DC, and hydraulic control schemes according to actual needs for users to choose. The operation is simple, easy to realize automated operation, and can greatly reduce the number of dock workers.
Because its vertical arm feeding device and horizontal arm conveying structure are all fully enclosed structures, and the rear discharge point adopts an independently operated dust-proof aggregate system, the whole process is pollution-free, no leakage, no dust, and can reduce the dust pollution of the dock unloading operation by 90%. And the grab unloader is prone to cause dust flying at the grab exit, air operation, and grab unloading. Now the country’s requirements for environmental protection are getting higher and higher, and the environmental pressure is very high. The spiral unloader is very in line with the government’s requirements for environmental protection.
